Approval
Presented benefits of using a design system for executive buy-in. A side benefit was it helped lay the foundation for our best practices to optimize the implementation.
Audit
Itemized digital assets and created coresponding Jira tickets for cross-departmental collaboration. This also helped manage responsibilities within our department.
Design
The initial design system was built with Sketch and InVision, leveraging Material Design as the foundation. The second version has been migrated to Figma to be integrated with MUI and Storybook.
Documentation
To support the design system and it's principals, extensive documentation was provided to various stakeholders. This included documentation for creatives buidling assets and IT handoff for developers.
